Bright Eyes Iris Color Change Surgery
This video demonstrates the removal of a Bright Eyes iris color implant. Bright Eyes by Bright Ocular is a cosmetic implant for iris color change. Bright Eyes is not available in the United States or the European Union.
Unfortunately implants placed in front of the iris damage the corneal endothelium and anterior chamber angle. This can cause blindness through corneal edema and glaucoma.
This technology will have to come a long way before we can reccomend iris color change surgery to anyone.
