Jack Sahadi, MD

Dr. Sahadi is an Ophthalmologist certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology who has performed over 20,000 vision correction procedures. He is the founder of Coastal Bend Eye Center and Ambulatory Surgical Center. He has offered refractive surgery to residents of the Coastal Bend since the 1990s with radial and astigmatic keratotomy. He was certified to perform LASIK in 2003. Dr. Sahadi was among the first to offer the ultrasonic removal of cataracts in Corpus Christi, and the first to offer cataract treatment in a cost-effective, comfortable and convenient Ambulatory Surgical Center environment. Dr. Sahadia is a member of the Texas Medical AssociationTexas Ophthalmological Association, and American Medical Association. He is a lifetime member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Sahadi is originally from Corpus Christi, TX. After graduating from Ray High School, he attended Texas A&I University in Kingsville, TX where he graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He studied medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He did his internship and Ophthalmology residency at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, TX.

Dr. Sahadi joined Dr. John Sohocki in private practice in Corpus Christi in 1975. He founded Coastal Bend Eye Center in 1977. He founded Coastal Bend Ambulatory Surgical Center in 1985, where he served as the Medical Director until 2011.

When he is not practicing medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife, 4 children, and 6 grandchildren. He is an avid fan of the Texas Longhorns football team and enjoys fishing on the Baffin Bay.
